Morning, just want to say a big thankyou to everyone that supported the workshops, its been a crazy fortnight! some lovely items have been crafted and everyone seems to have got a lot out of it.

Next round of workshops begins with the Christmas Light switch on.

We have gift vouchers for the monthly Soulful Sunday group and for the 4th of January Vision Board Day, Soulful Sunday in January will fall on the 11th January to make space for the Vision Board Day.

Together in Tone is an exciting new wellbeing project supported by Wellington Town Council through the Somerset Association of Local Councils (SALC) Community Health & Wellbeing Grant. The project aims to strengthen community connection, reduce isolation, and celebrate local identity through the joy of shared music-making.

We are looking to appoint a Community Music Project Coordinator to lead and coordinate the delivery of this year-long initiative across the Wellington and Wiveliscombe Local Community Network (LCN). This fixed-term role will involve working with local choirs, musicians, and community groups to connect existing musical activity, promote participation, and help create a legacy of collaboration through shared performances and a community music directory.

This is a part-time, flexible role (approximately one day per week) offered on a freelance or short-term contract basis, running from November 2025 to September 2026, with a total fixed fee of £5,000. Reasonable travel and material expenses will be reimbursed, and support will be provided by the Community Development Officer throughout the project.
