Reflecting on Breast Cancer Awareness Month... 🩷

On Friday 24th October, the Patient Choice team came together in fabulous pink style for , raising £100 in support of Breast Cancer Now!

Throughout October, we’ve been raising awareness of breast cancer and its impact - including secondary lymphoedema, which affects many survivors after treatment.

One of those inspiring survivors is Jenny, who shared her powerful story with us. Her journey reminds us why the right support, compassion and care makes all the difference for patients.

At Patient Choice, we’re proud to support patients like Jenny - providing reliable, accurate prescription and retail services for medical-grade compression garments and many other medical appliances that help each individual on their personal road to recovery.

For ostomy patients living in Devon or South Somerset, it is the last meeting of 2025 for the Mid Devon Ostomy Support Group this coming Saturday (15th November), and all ostomates are very welcome to attend!
The support group will be meeting at the Boniface Centre in Crediton, 2-4pm. There is free on-site car parking and it's easily accessible via public transport.
This is an informative and supportive social event for ostomy patients - with a stoma nurse attending, refreshments provided and a raffle!
Rhodes Pharma - the company behind StoCare () and Ostoform - will also be there to showcase their product range, carefully designed to provide everyday solutions for ostomates.
