Oaktree Court is set in 9 acres against a beautiful backdrop of woodland, this former mansion house is just half a mile from Wellington, a small Somerset town standing between the River Tone and the beautiful Blackdown Hills.

The end of the year tends closer and closer the Oaktree Court Care Home games come to an end with winners crowned and gifts being handed out for the winners.🎁

The curling made heads turn and some of the highest scores I’ve ever seen 👀 Plus the bingo ladies were on there finest form bingos shouted left, right and centre 🧡🎉

Thank you too all residents, staff and activities for creating such amazing atmosphere over the year ✨

This Christmas Eve we shared a a very special type of worship at Oaktree Court Care Home, celebrating the hope, peace and joy of the season together. It was a lovely moment singing through carols, prayers and reflections with residents and staff 🎉🎅🏼

Today 3 girls came into Oaktree Court Care Home and filled the place with smiles and cheerfull singing 🎄✨

It was such a joy to see all the smiles the ladies singing along and of course the main event the ladies singing to the Christmas songs. It’s always amazing to see how music can bring back memories and moments from childhood.🎄♥️

Thank you to the 3 girls who came and out and put on a show we are all now fully in the Christmas spirit✨

What a true honour 🎖️

We had a truly special visit at Oaktree Court Care Home as we welcomed Mr Mohammed Saddiq, HM lord- lieutenant of Somerset who very kindly came to visit our wonderful Ken, who is an incredible 101 years young 🎉

Mr Saddiq spent time with Ken, sharing stories and conversation it was a true honour to see the smile, laughter and genuine warmth throughout the visit.

A huge thank you to Mr Saddiq for taking the time to to make this memorable visit. It was a amazing afternoon that will be treasured for a long time🧡

We had a wonderful day welcoming a fantastic singer into our home, bringing music, laughter, and a lovely atmosphere for everyone to enjoy 🎤🎵

Before the music began — and even while it was playing — families and residents came together to enjoy a delicious buffet. It was so special to see loved ones sharing food, chatting, and making memories side by side ❤️🍽️

With great music, happy conversations, and full hearts (and plates!), it was a day filled with togetherness, joy, and community — exactly what moments like these are all about

What a truly magical Elf Day it was! Oaktree Court Care Home Christmas concert was filled with festive music, laughter, and the most heart-warming moments of all — residents holding hands, sharing smiles, and celebrating the happiness that Christmas brings ❤️🤝

Seeing everyone come together reminded us that Christmas isn’t just about the songs or decorations, but about connection, love, and feeling part of something special. The joy in the room was contagious, and every smile told its own beautiful story 🎶😊

Today was all about music, memories, and smiles 😊
Ian brought his one-man band to sing for the residents, and the joy on their faces says it all. The smiles in this picture are exactly what music creates – connection, happiness, and moments that truly matter.

From toe-tapping tunes to singalong favourites, Ian turned the room into a place full of laughter and good vibes. Music really does have the power to lift spirits and bring people together ❤️
