I found this Ted talk by Mary Gauthier interesting and thought-provoking. She talks about song-writing as a way to heal trauma. I think there is a lot of overlap between the process which she describes and what I do as a psychotherapist. Worth a listen!

This article gives me an interesting challenge: can I rewild my home? As autumn approaches I anticipate the scuffle of house mice in the attic, and the appearance of scarily gargantuan spiders! Can I accept that this is their home as much as mine?

Species decline is being reversed in UK forests, highlands and rivers. But rewilding should start in our own houses and gardens
