Today we did some fun challenges! ⏳

We did the same drawing but used three sand timers to see the difference in each drawing to how much more detail we could add!

Some of the kids came up with a fun challenge to use a dice to decide which pen colour they used 🥰

We also did some focussed drawing of eyes and where they would take us, be it realistic, characters, monsters or all the in between! 👀

I loved our small session last week, just me Pasco and Olly, but we created some lovely art pieces….

Olly told me he’d recently got a dinosaur bone so wanted to use that for his inspiration- check out the dinosaur skeletons!! Such great concentration and beautiful art work 🤩

Pasco got creative last week creating random shapes then seeing animals/food and characters within them - so imaginative! 🤗

And of course some beautiful flowers made the cut as planned but I love it when our sessions follow the learners interests and they can let their imaginations run wild - that’s what it’s all about! 🎨 🖼️

If you’re at home and wanting to start some creativity then this task is perfect! ✍🏼

With inspiration from Andy Warhol I’d love to see a collection of a favourite drawing/character, copied a few times and then coloured in different/opposite colours to its norm - you’ll be surprised how cool they’ll look!

It’s up to you how many copies, you could do just 2, 4 or like the picture 12!

You can start by drawing a grid on the paper into however many sections, then drawing your design/character/favourite thing in each one. Once that’s done it’s time to colour!

Have fun, enjoy the process and remember it’s okay to make mistakes - they sometimes turn out to be awesome!! 🤩

Can’t wait to see what you come up with 🥰
