Oli and Matt Turner are competing in Portugal this week, taking part in the Portugal Overseas Pro-Am. It’s great to see them both out there representing Atlas with pride at such a well-regarded tournament.

After their hard work and commitment throughout the year, this is a truly well-deserved break, giving them the chance to enjoy competitive golf while taking some time to recharge.

We’ll be sharing regular updates on their progress throughout the week, and we wish them both the very best as they take on the tournament.

This Christmas, the team at Atlas are proud to support the amazing charity Aching Arms UK. A wonderful UK charity dedicated to supporting families following a loss, providing comfort bears and compassionate care.

On Friday 12th December 2025, we’re lacing up our shoes (and our Santa boots!) for a sponsored fun walk/run around Long Run Meadow. The whole Atlas team will be in full festive costumes, and we’d love for clients, friends, family, children, and even furry friends to join us. Everyone’s welcome!

Client Spotlight Culmex Construction ltd

We’re thrilled to share that our amazing client, Culmex Construction has taken part in the incredible BBC DIY SOS project in Feniton!

For those who don’t know, DIY SOS is an inspiring BBC programme that brings together local tradespeople, suppliers, and volunteers to transform the homes and often the lives of families and communities in need.

It’s been an honour to see Culmex Construction contribute their expertise and passion to such a meaningful cause.

🏁 We’re So Proud! 🏁

We’re delighted to share that one of our amazing clients Deelis Roofing Ltd has been taking part in the Construction Cup at Raceworld Karting, an incredible event raising vital funds for Hospiscare.

With 45 companies competing, the atmosphere was full of energy, teamwork, and friendly competition. We’re thrilled to announce that Deelis Roofing secured an outstanding 2nd place finish! 👏

Together, all the companies involved in the Construction Cup and the Devon Business League helped to raise an incredible £177,336 for Hospice Care, a truly amazing achievement that will make a real difference to so many lives.

A huge well done to Deelis Roofing and all those involved for their fantastic efforts and commitment to such a meaningful cause. 💙

Today we’re celebrating our amazing General Manager, Paul, who has been a key part of the Atlas Safety Management family for over 10 years. Throughout the years, Paul has not only helped grow and strengthen our business, but he’s also built trusted relationships and lasting friendships with our clients.

His dedication, creativity, and leadership continually bring the best ideas to the table, inspiring all of us to strive for excellence and push the business forward.

Today, Paul is taking a well-deserved break, spending the day with his wife and family and we couldn’t think of a better way for him to celebrate!

This November, our Health & Safety Consultant Dan has taken on the challenge of walking 10,000 steps every day to raise money for the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), a charity that holds special meaning for him.

Before joining Atlas Safety Management, Dan proudly served in the Armed Forces for several years. Unfortunately, due to multiple injuries, he was forced to leave the service earlier than expected. Returning home proved incredibly difficult, and Dan later received a PTSD diagnosis after facing the many challenges of adjusting to civilian life.

The RBLI provides vital support to veterans who have served our country, including those experiencing homelessness, living with physical or mental health conditions, and even the families of veterans who have tragically taken their own lives. Their work ensures that vulnerable veterans and their loved ones receive the care, stability, and respect they deserve.

Since starting his challenge on 1st November, Dan has already walked an impressive 32,474 steps all in dedication to helping RBLI continue delivering these life-changing services.

We are incredibly proud of Dan for his courage, compassion, and determination to give back to a cause so close to his heart.

Happy Halloween from Atlas Safety Management 🎃

Before you dive into the tricks and treats, remember these simple ways to keep your Halloween safe:

💡 Be visible: Add reflective tape, glow sticks, or carry a flashlight to stay seen after dark.
🎃 Check all your treats before digging in, enjoy only those that are sealed and secure.
🧙 Dress safely: Avoid long costumes that drag, and choose flame-resistant fabrics.
🚘 Take it slow! Witches, wizards, and werewolves may be crossing the road ahead!
🔥 Workplace safety counts too: If your office is celebrating, keep decorations clear of walkways and electrical hazards.
