Heating Your Home with Oil?

The UK Government is consulting on the future of clean heating, including renewable options for oil-heated homes. It’s important that people in rural areas have a say in how they want to heat their homes in the future.

Submit your thoughts to the government by 10th February to make sure they consider oil heating users and take your views into account. ✅

On Friday, we said goodbye to John, who has been with us for just under 49 years!

He has entered the next chapter in his life and a well-deserved retirement. We hope his days are filled with peace, relaxation and new memories.

Do you own an oil-heated home? ✅

There’s a government consultation about how homes that use oil heating could be treated in future energy plans. The current focus includes options like heat pumps, which can be expensive and disruptive for older rural homes.

Industry groups like UKIFDA are encouraging renewable fuels like HVO to be included as a practical, low‑disruption way to reduce emissions without replacing your boiler.

As we head into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to look back on the past year. 🎉

Tincknell simply wouldn’t be where it is today without our incredible team. From helping customers through winter emergencies to supporting local community initiatives, they have shown up time and time again with the same care, commitment and friendly service.
