Little nod to all the incredible women in my life (you know who you are)
On international women’s day- I just want to acknowledge the women I am surrounded by (daily) now and I am beyond grateful.
It’s been incredibly healing not just for myself but for the others too.
The sister wound is one of the most painful.
We all know that wound.
Where women betray each other, become rivals, tear each other down instead of lifting each other up.
It takes a truly strong and aware women to stand shoulder to shoulder with other women and see them not as a threat or competition- but as a sister, an equal.
Healing the sister wound is often one of the most tender and painful journeys because it touches our deepest longing for belonging among other women. A wound that forms when trust, support, or friendship between women turns into betrayal, competition, exclusion, or judgment.
Many of us grow up craving sisterhood as a place of safety and reflection, but what we’re met with is the opposite and its rupture can feel like a mirror cracking.
Healing this wound asks us to soften old defenses, release inherited narratives of rivalry, and remember that connection between women was supposed to be a circle not spiteful battles or competition. When that circle is restored, something ancient and powerful inside the heart begins to mend.
So, to the women in my life- thank you.
