The Avalon Gate

The Avalon Gate is a group of healers interested in bringing their work to the public, and enabling other practitioners of all types to do the same.

The Avalon Gate is a group of healers interested in taking their healing out into the world and encouraging others to do the same. With this aim in mind, we are putting on low cost event in the locality of Somerset to give other therapists, creative folk and practitioners with a leaning towards healthy mind body and spirit a chance to get out into the public.

If you could bottle the wonderful relaxed feeling you get after having Reiki or any energy work then how magical would that be?
More and more I am being asked by our younger generation to experience the total Reiki relaxation and meditation feeling, as they are open to this alternative way to relax and calm themselves.
It is an honour to be able to help and inspire our children, no matter their age, to immerse themselves in this simple yet totally effective system of healing to benefit their own well being and mental health. During a session the children are mostly open and honest about their feelings beforehand and then very eager to share their positive feelings afterwards.

I love the fact that children are so open and accepting of Reiki energy, they embrace its power and ask the most pertinent of questions.
A 7year old and a 9 year old child recently asked for Reiki as their curiosity was piqued and they wanted to start to understand what I did, and how this wonderful energy manifests within their bodies.
The 7year old girl really wanted to experience a 'hands on' Reiki, and after clearing her aura I gave her some Reiki. Her beaming smile at the end said it all, she said it left her feeling "calm peaceful and felt harmony in her body" Quite inciteful for someone so young.
The 9year old boy who was also inquisitive wanted to experience the same but using a non hands on approach. This is an for anyone that prefers not to be touched so we settled into a Reiki meditation where he experienced a shifting of 'heavy' or negative energies surrounding him. He said he felt calm and lighter at the end and enjoyed the experience greatly. Both are keen to learn more.
Our children are our future, so I open my arms to any of them that want to learn and use this wonderful energy in their life.

THE LOOK OF LOVE …...PART 1

When you look in the mirror at yourself, what do you truly see????

A strange question maybe ,but it is relevant to the people and media bombarded times that we live in.

Do you see yourself as a loving person who is not perfect but shows kindness and loving towards themselves, others and our planet?

Or

Do you see yourself as someone you don't quite like, could do better, regretful of some of the things you have done and the life you have led?

We can all resonate with the latter at some point, but what you do with that knowledge helps to define you as a person.

Learning to look at yourself with love and respect is very difficult for many of us, and the journey to self love is long and can be thwarted by the input of others.

Could you look into all of the mirrors that you pass today and smile at yourself?

You may find this really difficult at first, especially if you try to avoid your reflection at all costs. Succeeding in this is down to our muscle memory ( procedural memory ), and if an action is practised over and over many times then it becomes muscle memory and your face will automatically smile when you look at your reflection.

When you love yourself then you have the capacity to pass that love on to others, through a smile, a kind thought or deed, or just a word of encouragement for their needs.

What a wonderful world it would be then .

Give it a try and notice the little changes, for there will be ones, even if they are subliminally activated. You are all your own shining stars!!
