As we head into the time of year when pollen counts start to rise, lots of people begin to feel the familiar symptoms of hay fever — sneezing, itchy eyes, a runny or blocked nose.

Did you know you don’t usually need to see a GP for hay fever? Your local pharmacy can offer advice and effective treatments without an appointment. Many remedies are available over the counter and can really help keep symptoms under control.

By choosing pharmacy first for straightforward hay fever symptoms, you’re helping to keep GP appointments available for those who really need them and supporting the wider NHS. 🌿

Important Update - Vitamin B12 Injections:

Following patient feedback over the last 12 months, and discussions with suppliers, we have reviewed the way in which we provide B12 injections to patients that require them.

From Monday 16th of February, we will return to being able to obtain stock directly for patients – this means that you will no longer need a prescription prior to your appointment.

If you have already had medication issued to you – please continue to bring this to your appointments so that we do not waste supplies.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Service issues Update:

The issues affecting our server are still ongoing and as it currently stands may carry on into tomorrow morning.

We have put contingencies in place wherever possible to minimise disruption but please continue to bear with us whilst it is sorted.

It has been flagged as a critical incident and the NHS IT team are continuing to try and resolve the problem.

Thank you as always for your patience.

Patient Information

We’re pleased to let you know that following a locksmith visit, our reception is now open as normal.

We are currently experiencing some IT issues affecting access to our network. This is a county-wide problem and our IT teams are working to resolve it.

As a result, you may experience longer waiting times, or we may be limited in how we can help with some queries if you attend or call the practice.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while this is being sorted.

Patient update

We’re currently dealing with an unexpected lock failure which means we can’t access our reception area at the moment.

We’ve put contingency plans in place, so phones, appointments and clinical services are running as normal.

The only limitation is that we’re unable to hand out any prescriptions or sick notes that are normally collected from the front desk until the issue is resolved.

A locksmith is booked and we’re working to get this sorted as quickly as possible.

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We’ll update this page once we have an update.

Thank you for your understanding.
