💉Flu Vaccination Update November 💉

We have now finished our main practice clinics for flu but we do still have flu stocks remaining so please contact us to book your appointment if you are yet to have your vaccine and are within one of the eligible groups, this also includes the nasal flu vaccine (for patients born between 01/09/2021 – 31/08/2023).

With the festive season arriving very soon, we ask that patients please be aware that there will be slight adjustments in our dispensing timeline. The below posters detail the upcoming changes, however if there are any concerns, please reach out to our dispensary team on the following email address:

November 18-24 is World Antimicrobial Awareness Week. To mark the week, Public Health Wales is running a campaign to increase awareness of the importance of using antibiotics responsibly among the general public and healthcare professionals.

Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria, but every time we take them, we give the bacteria a chance to fight back. Antibiotic resistance happens when bacteria find a way to defeat the drugs designed to kill them.

⭐️Accurx Update⭐
We are continuing to use Accurx to contact our patients via SMS text messaging and email. We have now also enabled the Accurx triage function to help manage urgent, same-day appointment requests and medical advice. This service is in addition to patients phoning the practice and not a replacement.
This service will be available:
🟢Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 18.00pm (except bank holidays). Outside of these hours, please continue to contact the practice by phone as usual.
