⚽️ ACL reconstruction rehab ⚽️

We are lucky enough to have the astroturf facilities at The Physio Room to bridge the gap between rehab and real match play — building confidence and control to get back to sport.

After working on strength and agility in the gym, we were able to move Oli onto the Astro for some sport-specific drills as he looks to return to football after ACL reconstruction 🏃🏼

A proud moment for us as Sarah headed out to support Adele Nicoll in the 2-woman bobsleigh in the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics over the weekend with Adele representing Team GB - finishing an incredible overall 15th for her first Olympics with some seriously competitive 3rd and 4th runs! 🇬🇧❄️

Seeing the dedication, resilience and hard work that goes into performing at that level is exactly why we love what we do 💪 We are proud supporters of Welshpool Athletics Club - founded by Adele, , because helping the future athletes stay strong and injury-free is what we’re all about 🏃‍♂️✨

It’s been a busy 6 months down at the clinic as we now welcome Bethan back from maternity leave, we thought we would reintroduce ourselves. We’re Bethan & Sarah - musculoskeletal physiotherapists who run a private physiotherapy clinic based in Welshpool. We also both work as Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists within the NHS and have 14+ years of combined experience in diagnosing and rehabilitating a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

💫An exciting update from the Physio Room

The last 2 months Sarah has been holding the fort down at The Physio Room with Bethan having a little boy in June 💙

⭐ After just one appointment and a few weeks of following a tailored rehabilitation programme alongside their usual gym routine, we were very pleased to hear our client’s shoulder was near back to full strength & they had reduced pain 🙌🏻

We always aim to education & empower from the first session and sometimes this is enough to aid recovery. However, we are always on hand to help to review and modify programmes as needed along the journey, every individual is unique and your physiotherapy should reflect that.

Well done to everyone who competed in Welshpool 10k yesterday! Hopefully there aren’t too many tired legs today 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Sarah managed to get a PB compared to her time 2 years ago and stayed injury free - unheard of ! 💪🏻
