😫Sore throat ? We can help.
▪️Consultation: A pharmacist will assess your symptoms, looking at your throat and asking questions.
▪️Testing (If Needed): For eligible patients (over 6 years old, no penicillin allergy, sudden onset), a quick, pain-free throat swab may be done to check for bacterial infection (like strep throat).
▪️Treatment:
If bacterial, they may prescribe antibiotics.
If viral, they'll offer advice and over-the-counter treatments.
▪️Referral: If symptoms are severe, persistent, or complex, the pharmacist will refer you to your GP.
