1. The NHS Wales App was moved into Public Beta in 2023 and is continuing to evolve
2. All GP practices are now onboarded to the NHS Wales App
3. You can order repeat prescriptions, view prescription history and access health information via the App
4. If GPs have enabled the functionality, you can book and manage appointments on the NHS Wales App
5. Future developments include nominating a chosen pharmacy to collect medicines and tracking your prescription status.

📣Exciting news for Welshpool Medical Centre!
WE ARE LIVE WITH: Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

We're pleased to announce that from 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 we are live on the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). That means your prescriptions will be sent electronically from us directly to the pharmacy or dispenser of your choice — no paper prescription needed. ✅
EPS is secure, free, and very simple to use. You don’t need to be online or have a smartphone. Just tell your preferred pharmacy (Boots or Rowlands Welshpool) that you’d like to use EPS and they'll take care of the rest.

💡Benefits to you:
Faster, easier prescriptions and dispensing
Less chance of lost or misplaced paper prescriptions
Fewer trips to the GP just to collect paper prescriptions
