It’s the holiday season!

We want to wish everyone a restful festive break, whatever you will be doing.

Our offices are now closed and will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January. We will be taking a short break to spend time with family and friends and will be back in 2024!

Please note safety cover will continue in the normal way throughout the closure.

Did you know the NHS turned 75 this year?

That’s 75 years of providing healthcare in England, and the current figures show that over 1.3 million people per day use the service. But it’s not just hospitals and doctor’s surgeries…

📣PHARMExcel’s experts were invited to participate in a whopping 14 events this year as panellists, speakers, and sponsors across the UK and Europe. We were delighted to support these important initiatives which created new partnerships for us and opened up some exciting opportunities for 2024.

If you were also at any of those events, you may have seen our infamous Mega Buzz Wire, a game that requires intense focus and concentration to get the metal hook from one side of the wire to the other without the two connecting and buzzing! We’ve given out over ten prizes to our winners over the year, with the most popular being a Star Wars POP figure of The Child.

Thank you to all the event organisers, our co-panellists and co-sponsors, life science colleagues and anyone who competed on the Mega Buzz Wire! It has been a pleasure being able to take part in world changing innovation and progress in clinical research.

We look forward to meeting up again in 2024. We’re excited to attend the Clinical Outsourcing Group Conference in February and the Advanced Therapies Congress 2024 in March. We hope to see some of you there.

Thanks to the generosity of all the staff at PHARMExcel, we were able to donate another box of items for the much-needed food bank at the New Zion Christian Fellowship.

The New Zion Christian Fellowship, a local charity to PHARMExcel HQ in Welwyn Garden City, runs a foodbank which provides free emergency food parcels to help those in the community who have been given food vouchers by their care professionals.

Nothing impacted the clinical research landscape like the COVID-19 pandemic.

It became obvious that there was a need to implement more agile ways of working, so when PHARMExcel was selected to manage the COVID-19 vaccine booster study, it fast-tracked the study set up, going from approvals to site recruitment in just four weeks.

It was great to see many of the PHARMExcel team together today for some festive fun. With colleagues across the UK, we’ve made the most of the opportunity to enjoy some team building and games.
