Trauma Recovery CIC is a newly developed Community Interest Company based in Hertfordshire. Our ethos is: working towards a lifetime of healthy living.

Our aim is to deliver holistic multidisciplinary support and services to victims of sexual, domestic and relational trauma. The therapist/client relationship is a very special one, and it is primarily the nature of the therapeutic relationship that enables you to make changes and think about things in such a different way. In your sessions you will be encouraged and supported to challenge your beliefs and current ways of thinking in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will be able to try out new ways of thinking and behaving in a place that allows you the space to do so. All of our therapists are equipped with the knowledge and experience to support you to deal with, and work through, issues from your past and present. You will be supported to look forward to your future, making your own decisions and feeling confident in yourself. Your sessions are directed by you and your needs. All sessions are currently remote. Our Nightlight Crisis Cafés (based in Watford, Ware, Hatfield & Stevenage) are open for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis 💚

They are staffed by a dedicated team - who are on hand to listen and work alongside you during a crisis 💙

We have more funding to provide trauma therapy in Hertfordshire!! To do this we need an experienced Counsellor to join our team (as soon as possible please) 🙂
