To celebrate World Kindness Week, we spent some time with the children from Thechildrensroom_Wendover making cards for the special people in their lives, from family members to the wonderful staff at the nursery! 🥰

We then got some fresh air and played with the fallen autumn leaves, comparing their colours and throwing them in the air! 🍁🍂

We braved the autumnal weather this morning and made a trip to our lovely town’s little market!

We tried so many yummy treats and took some cheese, olives and pastries home for us to enjoy later and share with the others 🥰😋

What a fantastic time we’ve had celebrating Bonfire Night at Cherry Tree House! 🔥🧡

We gathered around the fire with a hot cuppa, lit some sparklers and enjoyed some toasted marshmallow smores 🥰

We were even lucky enjoy to catch the firework display next door! 🤩🎆

🌲 A walk around Wendover Woods🌲

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Wendover Woods on Friday - a perfect way to celebrate World Mental Health Day and the importance of taking time for nature, movement and connection.

💦 Hydrotherapy! 💦

Our residents had the best time taking part in a hydrotherapy session last night! They did a range of exercises to strengthen different parts of the body, from bending their knees and practicing breaststroke arms, to pushing through the water and even walking across the width of the pool completely unaided! 💪✨

Many said they couldn’t believe what they were able to do in the water, how much they enjoyed it, and how excited they are to go again. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter and moments of pure joy 🩵

A huge thank you to the amazing Phoenix Physiotherapy team at Chilterns Neuro Centre for making it such a positive and uplifting experience for everyone! 🤩

Today we celebrated the beginning of October with an Oktoberfest-themed day! 🍻🥨🇩🇪

After our morning exercise we had an armchair travel session to Germany, where we watched videos, listened to some music and did a German quiz! A few of us practiced our German speaking too 🥰

This afternoon we tasted a selection of beers and enjoyed some savoury snacks, whilst sat outside to make the most of the beautiful autumn sunshine ☀️

Then we took our selection of beers and the bratwurst sausages around to everyone in their rooms to make sure no one missed out! 😋
