We got all dressed up, put some Christmas music on and braved the cold this evening! ❄️

Our residents, staff and a few little elves walked around Thornton Crescent for Elf Day to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Thank you to the residents of Thornton Crescent and Dobbins Lane who kindly donated towards a good cause! That includes the lovely box of chocolates which were shared between everyone at Cherry Tree House 😋

This morning we headed to Tring’s Natural History Musuem and had a wonderful time! 🐋

The musuem houses the extraordinary private collection of Lionel Walter Rothschild, who lived from 1868 to 1937. Walter dedicated his life to studying the natural world and built this museum within the grounds of his family’s estate to house his collection of specimens from across the world. 🌎

We especially enjoyed seeing the larger animals, and some of the wildlife photography in the temporary gallery. We also loved seeing the school children drawing some of the animals in the exhibits as we walked around! ✍️🦁

To celebrate World Kindness Week, we spent some time with the children from Thechildrensroom_Wendover making cards for the special people in their lives, from family members to the wonderful staff at the nursery! 🥰
