We believe that strength is key to maintaining independence as we get older, so we make sure our residents have the opportunity to get moving and build strength every single day! 🌟

We’ve had a wonderfully busy week - we started the week celebrating a very special birthday, and continued with crafts, a visit from Little Ferns Wendover, a fun quiz night with our lovely families and lots more Easter traditions 🥰🐣

We were delighted to receive an early Easter treat with an invitation to a singing performance at our local infant school, John Hampden Wendover.

The children sang some wonderful songs about spring and truly brightened our day.

In the words of one of our residents, it was 'truly outstanding', and it was wonderful to watch everyone join in.

Our hearts are full. Thank you so much for having us! 💛

Happy Mother’s Day from Cherry Tree House! 💐
We celebrated the day with a toast this morning and a lovely afternoon tea. We had a wonderful day of treats, chatter and great company. ☕🍰

A very windy trip to the market this morning! 🍃

We warmed up with a lovely drink from Rumsey's Chocolaterie Wendover and headed back home for lunch ☕️

We spoke about how wonderful it is to feel the wind in our hair, and how we should never take these experiences for granted 🥰

Community appreciation post 🥰🌱

We were kindly donated lots of spring bulbs, and we’ve spent a lovely afternoon potting them to brighten our spaces.

We are looking forward to watching them grow and add some colour over the coming months. Your kindness really does make a difference. 💛

Last week we celebrated two wonderful occasions 🌟

For World Book Day on Thursday, we were delighted to welcome our lovely visitors from Little Ferns Wendover. Their fantastic character costumes brought lots of smiles, and together we enjoyed a creative afternoon making bookmarks 📖✨

We also marked International Women’s Day with a special afternoon tea yesterday, which was made even more meaningful as we celebrated the birthday of one of our residents at the same time. 🎂☕

To top it all off, we enjoyed some pet therapy with two super cute bunnies, courtesy of a resident’s family. They were a big hit with everyone! 🐰💛

We had a wonderful trip to the garden centre this morning, and we made the most of the sunshine by sitting outside to enjoy our tea and scones ☀️🥰

Sometimes we can find joy in doing the normal, everyday things to keep our home lovely. A few of our residents kindly offered to help us set the tables and fold our washing yesterday afternoon! 🥰
