Below is the third part in our client blog 😀
We've heard all about the booking and consultation and the start of the treatment. Here, we pick up during the colon hydrotherapy treatment 💜
"Jane chatted to me throughout, explaining what she was doing. I started to get some cramping in my stomach, a little like a mild period pain, so she asked me to change position on to my back. Once I had moved, the pain eased.
The weirdest and most uncomfortable part was when she jiggled the tube occasionally (to stimulate my bowel I think). That felt very strange but it only lasted about 2/3 seconds at a time.
The water temperature was changed occasionally too, something I could feel but only because Jane told me whenever she was doing it, I’m not sure I would have notice otherwise. It was very subtle.
What surprised me though was that I just chatted to Jane during the treatment, about holidays, family life and work and I didn’t feel uncomfortable in the least. I’d expected gushing water feelings, pain and lots of discomfort but none of that happened!
It got about 40 minutes in to the treatment and Jane started to express that we were almost done. But suddenly the cramping came back again.
I told Jane and she said we’d wait a few more minutes. Lots more waste was released, the cramping subsided again and then, the water was stopped and the tube removed.
After a minute or two, Jane asked me to head off to the bathroom and use the loo. She told me to take my time and not rush out, she expected me to be in there at least a good 10 minutes!
I stood up and instantly felt lighter. My tummy felt like a deflated balloon! Sadly Jane couldn’t remove my mum tum pouch but the bloating was completely gone and my stomach looked flat!"
