Dr Hani Namih is the founder of the Stella Maris Dental Practice - Over the past 38 years, he has attended many postgraduate courses in the UK and abroad 🌎

Dentistry is a passion for Dr Namih, and over the years he has found that giving people the confidence to smile is a very rewarding experience!

It is also his birthday today - the team wish you the happiest day! ✨

Today, we honour and remember someone truly special to our team and to our patients. Our beloved former receptionist, Tracey, who retired four years ago, touched everyone that came through our doors with her bright smile, unwavering positivity, and genuine warmth ❤️

She was more than a receptionist - she was the heart of our front desk and a steady source of comfort for patients and staff alike. Her caring nature, joyful spirit, and ability to make everyone feel welcomed made her deeply cherished by all who knew her ✨

Even after her retirement, she continued to stay connected, visiting us often and always asking about our patients. Her dedication didn’t end when she left her role; it lived on in her constant concern for the well-being of others.

We are deeply saddened by her passing, far too soon. Today, we will be closed for a few hours as we attend her funeral and celebrate the beautiful life she lived—one filled with kindness, compassion, and love.

She will forever remain a part of our team and our story.
May her memory continue to inspire us every day 💙

Flossing.
A subject that is brought up a lot within the practice and what interests our patients in finding the answer... 👀

We can confidently say that Yes - flossing is definitely necessary!
Daily flossing helps clean the areas a toothbrush cannot reach, but it's crucial to use proper technique to avoid damaging gums 🦷

Best instructions to follow would be:
1. Use 18" floss, wrap around fingers.
2. Guide gently between teeth.
3. Curve “C” shape, slide up/down below gumline.
4. Use fresh section each tooth.
5. Include back teeth too.
