We invite the Live & Love it community to a brand new workshop for parents and guardians of children who are experiencing dysregulation that impacts their participation in daily Occupations (Activities).

🐧 The Huddle in Muddle to Huddle is based on the concept that penguins huddle to stay warm share their heat and conserve energy. They constantly rotate spending some time in the centre keeping warm (and supported) and other times on the outer edges providing the support.

🐧 We invite the Live & Love it community to be more like penguins; that is providing support when you/we have the capacity to do so and to benefit from the support (without guilt!) when you need it. Our therapy teams role in this is to facilitate conenction and build foundation knowledge.

Our ninjakitchenuk air fryer has been well used the past few weeks during Life Skills sessions with the OTs 🤩

🧑🏻‍🍳Chicken nuggets, pizza, curry, lasagne just to name a few!

Cooking in an OT session has some great benefits, building motor and executive functioning skills as well as connection and regulation through food, fun and sometimes a bit of music! 🍝🎵

💛💚Parent Drop in Advice session and Playdate facilitated Speech and Language Therapist and member of our OT team 💛💚

📆When - Friday 10th October 2025

⏰Time - 9am-10am (There is also a separate event for our 10-11am session)

🤩Who - Any child/family can attend - you do not need to already attend Live & Love it.

Aims:
⭐A chance to visit our new studio room space (just across the car park from our main building).
⭐Speak to our Speech and Language Therapist for advice and questions related to your child.
⭐Find out more about our new SLT service from our SLT and our Director.
⭐Connect with other families and play!

🔎More Info: Parents can attend alone, have drink and a chat with our team or bring along you child if they will be with you. The child you bring along does not need to be the child you want to discuss (eg. you can bring along their younger sibling)
Room setup: A main play space, ball pit and quiet den space, direct access to the toilet and kitchenette space to get a drink.

🚘Travelling to us: We are accessible by car, with parking right outside the building.

♿Accessibility: The room is wheelchair accessible by ramped access up to the front door and an accessible toilet.

💛💚Welcome to our first Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy Stay & Play 💚💛

🔴🔴Update - SOLD OUT - Message us or comment INVITE if you would like to know when our next date is available🔴🔴

⭐Who - Any child/family can attend - you do not need to already attend Live & Love it, nor does your child need to have seen or need to see an OT or SLT.

⭐Aim - To provide an inclusive, affirming play setting where all types of play are accepted and celebrated. Families can simply stay and play, making use of the equipment in the therapy studio or Find out about the OT and SLT role. Connect with other families. Our therapy team would be very happy to answer and questions. Questions can be related to the child you are bringing along to the play session or to other children.

⭐Room setup - We will have a minimum of 2 adjoining rooms; one gross motor room with colourful play equipment and one quieter, low arousal space that children can freely move between.

⭐Travelling to us - We are accessible by car with parking right outside the building.

⭐Accessibility - There is 1 step and a threshold to come in the main front door. Stairs are the access to upstairs. The visitor toilets comprise 2 standard sized toilet cubicles and a sink area. There is a baby changing mat.
