I’ve been including Dry Cupping to my massage therapy treatments since February and have been really impressed with the results that I’m seeing and also the positive feedback from my clients.
So far I’ve found it to be very beneficial for back pain, shoulder and neck pain, hip pain, tight IT bands, shin splints, plantar fasciitis along with assisting with the management of chronic conditions such as Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis.
If you’d like more information or to see if I’d be able to assist you please message/ call me. 😀👍

Overactive or tight traps cause pain, tension and soreness across the back of the shoulders. There may be a burning pain in the trapezius muscle or a deep, dull aching sensation that you can’t pinpoint.
To treat discomfort you can try:
Applying heat or ice to the affected area.
Performing gentle neck or back stretches.
Or just book in with me. 😉👍

Tennis Elbow/ Golfers Elbow. In laymen’s terms, tennis elbow is inflammation on the end of the outer elbow, and golfer’s elbow is inflammation on the end of the inner elbow.
Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis affects the outer or lateral side of your elbow. These are the muscles you use to bend your wrist backward and straighten your fingers. Golfer’s elbow or medial epicondylitis affects the inner or medial side of your elbow. These muscles flex your wrist and close your fingers into a fist. Repetitive strain and overuse cause both of these injuries not necessarily tennis nor golf!

Cracking, snapping and popping joints? Clients have asked - What causes it? Do I need to see a doctor?

Snapping and popping of joints is common. The sound you hear is caused by air bubbles in the synovial fluid – the liquid that surrounds and lubricates your joints – and by the snapping of tightly stretched ligaments as they slide off one bony surface onto another. This sound is sometimes called crepitus – especially when you hear it in your knees going up and down stairs.

When not accompanied by pain, noisy joints are harmless. Nevertheless, I wouldn't recommend forcing joints to snap or pop. When joint cracking is accompanied by pain or swelling, it generally indicates some mechanical problem or disease activity within or around the joint, such as torn or frayed cartilage. If your noisy joints are accompanied by other symptoms, see a doctor.
