Lung cancer is the UK’s biggest cancer killer. It strikes without warning. It’s silenced by stigma.

Lung cancer deserves the same voice, visibility, and urgency as every other cancer. We owe it to those we’ve lost and those still fighting to raise our voices and demand better.

Today is World Diabetes Day (14th November 2025), a time to raise awareness, share advice, and support people living with diabetes in the UK.

At Insurancewith, we believe that living with diabetes should never stop you from exploring the world.

There are two main types of diabetes:

• Type 1 Diabetes: Where your body cannot make any insulin and usually requires daily insulin through injections or a pump.

• Type 2 Diabetes: Where your body still produces insulin but either does not make enough or cannot use it properly.

Whether you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, travelling should be exciting, not stressful.

And don’t forget: temperature changes can affect your blood glucose levels. Whether you are relaxing in the heat of Greece or Spain, or skiing in cold-weather destinations like Austria or Switzerland, extreme temperatures can change how your body absorbs insulin. Being aware of this can help you stay in control and enjoy your holiday safely and confidently.
