Welcome to Lavenders Care Home page. We offer only single rooms, all with ensuite facilities, maintaining an atmosphere of dignity and privacy.

Established in 1983, Lavenders is a family owned and managed care home situated in West Malling, in the heart of the Kent countryside. Our philosophy of care respects individual needs, abilities and aspirations and promotes independence of thought and action. A safe and happy environment enables each Resident to exercise choice in social, spiritual and occupational activities. A choice of sitting and dining areas with tranquil views helps create a warm and comfortable home. Such a high level of professional care could not be possible without our dedicated team of staff. Their personal development is a priority as it is their skills which enable Residents to achieve the greatest quality of life. Christmas fun! We are also busy prepping for our New Years Eve hippy party!

This evening we had our Christmas High tea, the residents throughly enjoyed this special occasion.

We had a very busy Sunday! We made card holders in the morning and Jay came to sing to us in the afternoon, never a dull moment!

Today we had a visit from More Park Catholic School. The children sang Christmas songs to us and then stayed to read and play games. We are so lucky to have such good connections with the local community.

Offham school well-being council came to visit us today. We read and played games, it was such a lovely afternoon for everyone involved.

Today as part of National Tree week and Eleanor Healthcare groups commitment to sustainability and their promise to plant 100 trees this week, we chose and planted wisteria, a blueberry tree and hydrangea bushes to add to our beautiful gardens.
Obviously this job required some mulled wine and mince pies!

Mereworth and Kings hill Beavers popped in to see us, always so enjoyable to see them

When the children visit it lights up the room!
Today we had Precious Gems Nursery West Malling pay us a visit, the children who were 3 years old sang and danced bringing so much joy!

The residents had a busy weekend making bird feeders playing memory games and banana scrabble.
Christmas decorations were also started!

Our arts and craft session was extra busy this weekend preparing for Remembrance Day.
Residents enjoyed gathering together to produce some excellent pieces which you will be able to see displayed around the home.
