Every child deserves to feel safe, confident, and understood — and that’s exactly what our one‑to‑one counselling sessions are all about: https://theparachuteproject.co.uk/counselling/

💡 Using trauma‑informed techniques and psychoeducation, we tailor each session to meet the needs of young people and their families.

✨ We offer blocks of 8 sessions, giving children the chance to build emotional resilience and develop practical tools they can carry with them every day.

👀 Over the next few posts, we’ll be sharing a behind‑the‑scenes look at the different types of sessions we run — all designed with young people at the heart of everything we do.

A note from Abi…

One of the highlights of my year has been our youth club, facilitated by The Parachute Project and funded by Building Norfolk CIC and Safe Landing Community Hub.

Originally formulated by older teens, this group exists so younger teens can feel safe, valued and supported. A year ago, many of these young people were so anxious that simply walking through the door took huge courage.

This isn’t just a youth club — it’s built on trust, courage and connection. It’s a place where anxiety is understood, voices matter, and young people are reminded they are not alone. Activities are carefully planned and thanks to donations and fundraising for Building Norfolk CIC resources and facilities are never limited.
I am so proud of everyone involved in this…especially the young people. I can’t wait to see you all and welcome more children next year! 💜

Mental health support isn’t a privilege — it’s a human right. For children and young people, timely access to care is one of life’s everyday essentials.

Across the country, too many are still waiting too long. Early intervention can prevent crisis, build resilience, and help young people thrive.

💬 Support is essential.
⚖️ Rights are attainable.
🕊️ Change is possible.

Let’s make sure every young person gets the support they need — not someday, but every day.

At The Parachute Project we are doing our best to enable as many children who need it as we can, to have access to our provision. Email us for more information here: https://theparachuteproject.co.uk/contact-us/
