Not all trauma looks like what people expect.

Sometimes it is quiet.
Overthinking.
Feeling on edge for no clear reason.

Reacting more strongly than you would like.

These are not flaws. They are patterns your mind and body have learned to protect you. The good news is those patterns can change.

A gentle thought for this week.

Sometimes it is not the present that feels overwhelming, it is the past that still lingers in the background.
