💗HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 2026💗

What says "I love myself" more than a date with the mirror, looking and feeling for changes to your chest in order to be breast aware.

A good relationship with your monthly chest check is the best way to detect any changes to your breasts.

🌏In honour of World Cancer Day (4th February 2026) there is no better time to learn how to be breast aware.🌏

❓ Did you know... Over half of the women in the UK do not check their breasts regularly for potential signs of breast cancer.

We know that early detection leads to better outcomes. By checking your chest (monthly) and attending regular breast screening (every x3 years between 50-70+) you are more likely to detect changes to your chest sooner.

Check out Breast Cancer Now signs and symptoms of breast cancer below:

And/Or CoppaFeel!'s "self-checkout" to become breast aware!

At Avon Breast Screening, we understand that finding reliable sources of relevant health information can often be a daunting task, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like breast cancer and breast screening. It can be overwhelming to navigate through the vast amount of information available, and it's scary to think that some sources might not be trustworthy.

That's why, in support of Health Information Week (19th-25th January), we want to highlight some reliable sources of information surrounding breast cancer and breast screening. These resources aim to provide you with accurate and up-to-date information, so you can make informed decisions about your health. And the best part? They're available in a variety of languages, making them accessible to everyone! 🌎 Check out these trusted sources:
