We’re proud to share that three of our fantastic team members - Simon, Irina, and Jan - have successfully passed their BICSc Assessor re-accreditation!

This achievement means they continue to be certified to assess HW staff against BICSc standards, helping us maintain excellence in service delivery and uphold the highest professional benchmarks.

Even more importantly, it strengthens our ability to train our wider team to the BICSc standard — embedding best practice, consistency, and confidence across our operations.

Huge congratulations to Natan Blachuta for being named Runner-Up for Cleaning Operative of the Year at the annual BICSc Awards!

Natan’s part of the HW team working with CBRE on the Experian contract in Nottingham, this recognition is so well deserved and a great reflection of the hard work and pride Natan brings to the job every day. Well done, Natan. Great to see your hard work being recognised!

We are excited to announce that HW Facilities have been recognised with TWO International Green Apple Environment Awards for outstanding environmental achievements. These awards not only celebrate the importance of our environmental projects but also recognise us as a leader in sustainability.

🌿 Giving Back to the Community 🌿

On behalf of the City of London Corporation and CBRE, HW Facilities Ltd and Kingdom Partnership were proud to support local communities through hands-on volunteering.

Working alongside Hackney Giving – a fantastic platform connecting community organisations with private sector support – our teams joined forces at Mayne Court on 22nd August. Together with volunteers from CBRE, HW, and Kingdom, we rolled up our sleeves to restore and refresh the garden space.

It was a brilliant day of teamwork, collaboration, and shared commitment to making a positive impact. 💪✨

A huge thank you to everyone involved for bringing energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit. This is what partnership in action looks like!

HW Facilities continues to support the Million Mile Clean. This initiative is led by Surfers Against Sewage, bringing volunteers together to clean miles of blue, green or city space each year. Surfers Against Sewage is one of our chosen charities this year.

As part of our support, we completed a park clean at Biss Meadows Country Park on Tuesday 16th September.

Four members of the HW office team took part, walking 2.5miles around the whole park and collecting 8kg worth of litter.

It was a very clean place which was reflected in the amount of litter collected!

We are lucky to have such a beautiful natural space on our doorstep, and are glad we were able to help maintain it for other visitors, and of course the wildlife.

This summer, HW Facilities have continued to support the Million Mile Clean. This initiative is led by Surfers Against Sewage, bringing volunteers together to clean miles of blue, green or city space each year. Surfers Against Sewage is one of our chosen charities this year.

Our most recent clean was at Morecambe Beach, on 12 August. After a day of hard work, the team of 10 volunteers picked up an amazing 46Kg of litter, and walked a combined 30Km!

Thanks to everyone who participated: HW personnel, key account clients AXA, and our CBRE colleagues.

HW Facilities are proud to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the Sustainability – Best Practice (Service Provider) category at this year’s European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards!

With over 60 finalists across 11 categories, the competition is strong, and we’re honoured to be recognised among some of the industry’s most innovative and committed organisations.

The winners will be revealed at the gala dinner on Thursday, October 2, held at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.

Reaching this stage is already a fantastic achievement, and we’re grateful to our team and partners who continue to drive sustainability forward every day. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us – we can’t wait to see what the evening brings!
