Sometimes you have to try something and see what happens.
Bob here was put on sale at our local shop and I thought why not. I usually stick to Orchids but I am trying new plants to care for. I have Lil Bit, the cactus, who has doubled in size since last year and now Bob, the succulent.
I have never kept these plants before but I am taking a leap of faith that my care for them with help them grow.
As humans we can show love and care which helps another grow whether this is another human, a pet or a plant, we get back what we put in and for the time we spend we reap the rewards.
For my own peace of mind I look at my plants (yes I am a crazy plant lady instead of a crazy cat lady) and thank myself that they are able to grow and be as healthy as they are. Do I still question if I am good enough? Yes but I remember that my oldest Orchid, Oscar, is coming up for 13 soon (just how long I have had him) and he is the amazing plant he is because I have cared for him.
Never forget your value to those you care for, occasionally take a step back and look at what you have done especially when you are in a bad place.
