Compassion infused, person centred, abstinence-based residential treatment centre for addiction. Transforming lives since 1974.
Addiction is an illness, not a choice. But the good news is that with the right support, addiction is treatable. As the UK’s most experienced abstinence-based rehabilitation centre, we understand addiction and how to treat it. We’re here to work with clients so they can live happy and fulfilling lives. We can help people who have an addiction to:
We provide inpatient medically-managed detoxification for people with an addiction to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and prescribed medication. Clients who detox with us are allocated a twin en-suite room in our on-site medical unit which is staffed 24/7 by our specialist nurses. There is a gentle therapeutic programme alongside the detox. Once the detox is completed (if required), clients can immerse themselves into the full, comprehensive therapeutic programme. This is where real change starts to happen. They work with counsellors and their peers to understand their addiction and address the root cause so they can develop healthy coping mechanisms and the tools to sustain their recovery. They will also address other presenting issues and improve their emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing as well as self-worth. We can support people who have dual diagnosis where another condition co-exists alongside their addiction such as anxiety and depression. Please Note:

The benefits of art therapy are incredible and vast. For those who may struggle with words it can really help to provide a different platform to explore emotions. 🎨
Even for those who may be OK with talking, art therapy can provide an outlet for anxiety and help to provide a calming space.
A reminder for anyone who needs this this Christmas time 💙

Christmas can be especially tough for families affected by addiction, but small acts of compassion can make a powerful difference. 💙 Choices Rehabs
Christmas can be especially hard for families affected by alcohol or drug addiction.
You may not know how to help, or even how to start the conversation.
Small acts of compassion can make a real difference:
• Listen without judgement
• Offer support, not solutions
• Encourage professional help when the time feels right
At Choices Rehabs, our members work with families and individuals every day, helping people rebuild their lives and find sustainable recovery.
It was not originally scheduled but we are pleased to say that Online Aftercare will be held next Thursday (10am - 1pm), the last session of the year.
If you've ever stayed at Broadway Lodge, you're welcome to join counsellor Wendy and other former clients, to get support or help others. The meeting link can be found here:
Following treatment completion all former clients have access to our complimentary Online Aftercare group, held most Thursdays.

As well as treatment primarily for addiction, we can support those who have a dual diagnosis where another condition co-exists alongside their addiction such as an eating disorder, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Our experienced counsellors work with clients using an integrated approach encompassing various interventions and proven and established styles of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to address some of the presenting issues.
We have 24 hour medical care onsite which ensures client safety and making it as comfortable and safe as possible.
