Worthy Therapy provide creative and fun counselling solutions primarily for children aged 3 and up, but suitable for all ages. We are a small business founded in 2011 by Yvonne Barker. We have a real passion to support and help individuals overcome emotional, behavioural and personal issues through play therapy and counselling. We work primarily with children, but are able to accomodate and offer advice to individuals from all walks of life. Yvonne is an accredited PTUK (Play Therapy UK) practitioner and always ensures her work is naturally compliant with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) ethical framework. We offer a comfortable and confidential space for individuals to engage with their emotions through creativity and/or conversation. This creates the perfect environment for a process of self healing allowing individuals to identify and come to terms with the full extent of their issues. Yesterday I took my daughter and a friend to watch sing along at the cinema.

My daughter has been watching it at home, and I'd obviously heard the song Golden and seen pictures of the main 3 characters, but otherwise, I knew nothing else about it.

Initially, I wasn't sure. The whole idea of demons taking souls, etc.

But by the end, I loved it; a battle to overcome inner demons, to being our shame/ guilt/ fears into the light and trust our friends and family to accept us for who we are.

The more we hide the things we see as negatives the more power they have over us.

Today is world mental health day, where they encourage everyone to wear yellow.

I still cannot wear my yellow tshirt, so I am wearing my lime green shirt as it is the closest to yellow I have.

So far today I have forgotten harvest gifts for school, put milk in my orange juice rather then my Cereal, and I forgot who was doing school pick up later..... clearly a good morning for me 🤣

Hopefully things can only get better.

I think I will try and manage some craft later, as something for me.

What can you do today for your mental health?

Looking after our mental health is as important (if not more important) as looking after our physical health. So do what you can to keep yourself well, and your children. And reach out to someone if its too tricky right now... we all have those times in life.

Unexpectedly stumbled upon a Trans+ rights parade in London today.

Waiting in the car so the rain doesn't flatten the hair... I'm not sure she's a fan of messy hair or make up but when the stage calls she goes all in. I can't wait to watch later. Enjoy the last 2 performances .theatre youve done amazing so far, give it your all as I know you always do ❤️
