🌟 Scalp Micropigmentation & Platelet-Rich Plasma Package 🌟

It's been quite a journey for our client!

After decades of struggling with thinning hair, our lovely client visited Micro Artistry in June 2024 for help and advice.

We began with a course of Scalp Micropigmentation to create the illusion of fuller density and to reduce the visibility of exposed scalp areas — essentially laying the foundation.

Once she'd completed her SMP treatment with me, we started her on a course of PRP with injection wizard Nurse Chloe PRP 🪄

Four sessions into her PRP course, our client experienced some health issues, triggering an episode of acute hair shedding. Nurse Chloe implemented a nutrition plan to support her hair growth during this time.

She’s now on her sixth PRP treatment, and just look at the progress!!

SMP and PRP work as a powerful combo — SMP camouflages permanent gaps and missing follicles to reduce scalp visibility, while PRP nourishes the remaining follicles to reduce shedding, re-thicken miniaturised hairs, and extend the anagen (growth) phase 🙌

💫 Success Story 💫

My client first came to see me for a Trichology appointment in November 2024, after noticing sudden and severe hair shedding.

We discussed her complex medical history — including Aplastic Anaemia and a bone marrow transplant in 2023.

Despite stable blood results and no nutritional deficiencies, her shedding continued. Unfortunately, her GP and Oncologist were unable to offer support or insight into her sudden hair loss. Because of this, she sought my advice as a Trichologist. After identifying Alopecia, I was able to access the expertise of BAHRS members and refer her to a private Dermatologist for further investigation.

She was subsequently diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis (AU) — the most advanced form of the condition — likely triggered by changes to her immunosuppressant medication following her bone marrow transplant.

It was a devastating diagnosis, but she followed my recommendations and began a treatment plan under her Dermatologist’s care with my continued support throughout.

Fast forward to today — and her results are nothing short of amazing. 🙌

✨ Trichology & PRP ✨

This lovely client first came to see me for a Trichology consultation, where I identified female pattern hair loss. After discussing her history and previous treatments, I advised that Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy with Nurse Chloe PRP would be the most effective option for her. 🌿

She’d been struggling with significant hair loss for many years and had tried countless treatments and medications since the age of 19 — but nothing seemed to help. In her 50s, she decided to give PRP a try… and the results have been incredible.

My client came to me after decades of feeling self-conscious about her hair loss which was caused by tension alopecia from repetitive tight hairstyles as a teenager.
