Delivering specialist systems in a 736-bed acute hospital takes close collaboration, careful planning, and a partner that can support the project from design through to installation.

We’re proud to have worked with the team at Midland Met, supporting the delivery of ceiling track hoisting across this major new hospital serving Sandwell and West Birmingham.

As part of the solution, our curtain hopper system allows a single hoist to transfer between adjacent bed spaces, helping improve patient safety while supporting more efficient moving and handling for clinical teams.

It was a pleasure to be part of the journey bringing this hospital into operation.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us last night for the AbleStay London networking evening. It was fantastic to see professionals from across the sector coming together to share ideas, experiences and conversations around accessible design.

A special thank you to Charles van Berckel for hosting us and giving a tour of the AbleStay property. Seeing a space designed with accessibility at its heart really brings home the impact thoughtful design can have.

We were also delighted to hear from Adam Thomas, who delivered a brilliant talk on accessible kitchens and the importance of designing spaces that truly work for the people who use them.

Collaboration and shared insights are key to creating environments that support independence, dignity and better outcomes for people with complex care needs and those around them, so evenings like this are incredibly valuable.
