Today’s group activity was extra heartwarming as we welcomed Foozie, our beloved therapy dog, to spend time with our residents and staff.

Everyone lit up the moment he walked in—there’s just something magical about the comfort and joy a furry friend brings. 🐶💛

Our staff shared, “We love it when Foozie visits!”
And one resident said with a big smile, “I love dogs so much—Foozie is such a good boy.”

📣 A Very Special Visit Today! 👶👶💛

Today we had the absolute joy of welcoming the catering managers baby twins for their very first visit with our residents and what a heart-warming afternoon it was!

The moment they arrived, the whole place lit up. Our residents were all smiles as they cuddled, chatted, and shared stories about their own children and grandchildren. 🥰

Visits like this make such a difference — they bring comfort, spark beautiful memories, and fill the home with warmth and laughter. The twins truly brightened everyone’s day.

A huge thank-you to our Catering Manager for sharing their little bundles of joy with us. We’re already excited for the next visit! 💛🍼✨

Our residents really enjoyed some wonderful pre-dinner entertainment today as we brought out a selection of musical instruments! The room was full of smiles, laughter, and lively rhythms.Activities like this are so beneficial for our residents — they help boost mood, encourage engagement, stimulate memories, and bring everyone together in such a joyful way.One resident shared, “I just love musical instruments — they make me feel alive!”And one of our staff members added, “I loved seeing the residents having so much fun today.”It truly was a lovely afternoon filled with music, connection, and happiness. 💛🎵

💜Arts & Crafts Club – Lavender Bag Making! 🎨

Today in our group activity, Arts and Crafts Club, our residents enjoyed making their very own lavender bags. Everyone got involved, choosing fabrics, filling the bags with lavender, and creating something personal to take home.

This activity was not only fun but also really beneficial for our residents — supporting relaxation, encouraging creativity, and giving everyone a lovely sensory experience. It was wonderful to see staff and residents working together, chatting, laughing, and sharing memories as they crafted.

One staff member commented, “I love the smell of lavender!”
And one of our residents shared a touching memory, saying, “This takes me back to my garden, as it always smelt of lavender.”

A lovely afternoon filled with creativity, connection, and the calming scent of lavender. 💜🌿
