Feeling rather proud of myself today! Following 2 and half years of Yoga Therapy studies including 580 hours of lectures,course work assignments and clinical assessments. I can finally say I have passed all of my exams and my final dissertation has now been approved. Just The final leg of case studies to complete and these are underway already. Doing this in my 50’s during menopause has not always been an easy journey to navigate, but that I have passionately wanted as I have never taken qualifications to a degree level before. Yes I always had great jobs in accounting/management and run businesses which spanned 25 years but it was a career I fell into rather than one that I chose! I like to think that I am living proof that it’s never too late to realise your dreams. So from starting my yoga teacher training at age 43 and now qualifying as a Yoga Therapist aged 51 I have a job and lifestyle that I absolutely love and look forward to helping people find health and wellness through the principles practices of yoga for at least the next 25 years 💕🧘🏻🙏💫✨

Yamas (social conduct) are a element of eight Limbs of of yoga. The first being Ahimsa which translates to non-violence.
We can think about this in relation to ourselves as well as others.

Are you up for a challenge this week? Let’s get in the pink and have some fun.The Focus for this week is balance and Flamingo 🦩 Posture and we shall be incorporating this theme throughout all of our online classes this week Having good balance is really important for your health, not least because it means you are less likely to fall over.

Welcome to 2021 lovely people. Phew that really was a rollercoaster ride in 2020.
Hopefully things will be sunnier and brighter as we head into this new year but it does Look like it’s going to a while before we are out and about again resuming our normal activities. So what to do in the meantime to support your health and wellness?
