The pain might feel like it’s in the shin bone, but the muscles around it are usually what need the attention.

Ele has over 25 years’ experience in massage therapy and is Level 4 qualified for treatment and a Level 3 Sports Massage tutor.

She has trained in a wide range of massage techniques and combines deep tissue work with Thai stretching to support both physical recovery and overall wellbeing.

Marathon training - long run phase 🏃‍♀️

As long runs build, confidence rises…
but fatigue builds too.

This is the point in marathon training where recovery starts to matter just as much as the miles.

Some soreness is normal.

But if tightness and fatigue are hanging around, it can be a sign your body’s asking for a bit of support to keep training on track.

Massage and physio after long runs can really help with recovery and keeping everything moving well.
