The smell of fresh pancakes filled the air today as residents and staff came together to celebrate a much-loved tradition. From classic lemon & sugar to indulgent chocolate and berries, there was something for everyone to enjoy — and plenty of smiles to go around!

Moments like these remind us how the simplest treats can bring the greatest joy. 💛

Love was truly in the air this Valentine’s Day 💕

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea filled with sweet treats, warm laughter, and the best company of all — their loved ones. From delicious cakes and freshly brewed tea to heartfelt conversations and shared memories, it was a beautiful reminder that the simplest moments together are often the most special.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. Here’s to love, friendship, and many more afternoons like this ☕❤️

The Mardi Gras preparations are in full swing at Weymouth Manor! 🎨🎭
Our residents are crafting colourful masks ready for the big celebration, with extra encouragement from Rupert, our resident therapy dog. He’s been supervising carefully and offering paws-itive support throughout! We’re looking forward to a fantastic celebration together.

What a gorgeous afternoon at Weymouth Manor today! ☀️🍹

We turned the lounge into a cocktail bar (minus the sticky floors 😆) and our residents fully embraced happy hour! There was plenty of “just a small one”… followed by “oh go on then!”

Lots of laughter, a bit of cocktail shaking (some more enthusiastic than others 😂), and some very impressive taste-testing going on. Safe to say the tea trolley had the day off!

Who needs a night out when you’ve got Weymouth Manor? Cheers to afternoons like these! 🥂💕

Love is in the air at Weymouth Manor Care Home! 💘✨

Our residents have been busy turning simple jigsaw pieces into beautiful Valentine’s hearts — and let’s just say, they’ve absolutely puzzled it out! 🧩😉

With paint, glitter, and plenty of creativity flowing, each heart is as unique as the person who made it. There’s been lots of laughter and plenty of lovely Valentine’s memories shared along the way 💕

The finished decorations look fantastic and have certainly added an extra sprinkle of love around the home. We think they’ve put their heart into it… piece by piece! ❤️

Well done everyone — you’ve made our home look truly heart-warming! 💗

🐾 A Very Special Welcome to Weymouth Manor! 🐾

We’re delighted to officially welcome our newest (and furriest!) team member — Rupert Saunders, our Trainee Therapy Dog 🐶💙

Rupert is a gorgeous miniature dachshund and has already stolen hearts across Weymouth Manor. From bringing smiles to residents to brightening staff days, he’s settling in beautifully and proving to be a truly pawsome addition to the team.

Already much loved by both his colleagues and the wider Weymouth Manor Community, Rupert is beginning his journey as a therapy dog — and we can’t wait to see all the joy, comfort, and cuddles he’ll bring along the way.

Welcome to the family, Rupert — we’re so glad you’re here! 🐾✨
