A few years ago I wanted to create a running club that was accessible for EVERYONE. A club that welcomed all abilities, all backgrounds, all ages…A club with no egos and no agendas. ❤️

After putting myself through all the qualifications enable the correct coaching for everyone I decided to start JH Running Club. 💪

Along with myself Kay Hadwin Rachel Abel Beverley Anne Heath Jamie Hill Lynnehome Stockwell & Paul Stockwell we formed a committee and applied to England Athletics about forming this spectacular club. 🙏

4 years ago today we had the wonderful news that the club had received its full creditation 👊

Since we have helped 100s of mums, dads, sons, daughters…anyone and everyone towards their running journey and always helped them ‘Run The Adventure’

So a MASSIVE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JH Running Club, and thank you to everyone who has made it a success

Just a quick introduction to anyone new…

I’m Jamie Hadwin, a qualified England Athletics Run Coach and I’ve coached 100s of athletes over the last 10 years. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

I’ve also got qualifications in Sports Nutrition, Mental Health in Sport, Athletics Coaching and currently working towards a degree in Sports Science 📚

I’ve also competed in several marathons, ultra and triathlons during my time as an athlete 💪

But now I want to help you…👊

Every Monday 7.15pm at Gym Geek I will be hosting a FREE session each week. No sign up. No cost. Just a fantastic opportunity to help you get running fit, confidence and ready.

January 2026’s special mention belongs to Juls Abernethy

18 months ago, Juls had spinal surgery, and since then her commitment to becoming the best version of herself has been inspirational. January 2026 marked a year since her return to resistance training — rarely missing a session and often turning up early to do extra — so now is a good time to reflect on how far she has come.🙌🏼

What’s even more admirable is that she does all of this whilst living a busy lifestyle as a business owner, running women’s-only health retreats. She sets an example that you can always find time for yourself whilst maintaining the highest standards in your working life💪🏼
