With regulation coming into effect on 29th July on the sale of funeral plans, the Financial Conduct Authority has today released information about those plan providers that will NOT be allowed to continue to sell and administer funeral plans.

If you have a plan with one of these companies and they have not contacted you already, it is recommended you contact them, contact details are provided within the linked page.

We are pleased to say that we have now completed the process to become an appointed representative for Golden Charter, whom the FCA are intending to authorise as a funeral plan provider, and all our relevant staff have completed the required training.

These firms will not be authorised as funeral plan providers from 29 July 2022. We tell consumers what this means for their plans.

Our Rainbow of Ribbons is back this year, giving you the chance to celebrate and remember someone special. Your ribbon could be to mark a memorable event, thank someone, or in memory of a loved one. 💛

Thanks to the support of our local community, our ribbons will be displayed in seven locations: the Hospice, Easingwold Market Place, Selby Abbey, Helmsley Walled Garden, Museum Gardens in York, All Saints’ Church, Pavement, York and St Martin’s Church, Coney Street, York.
