Last day of Pet/House sitting in Northallerton.
Took number 74 bus into town
Got chatting to a passenger
We got off the bus
And she directed me to a hidden
Sacred secret garden opens at 2pm
Hidden at the back of Zion Church
We met again at the garden
Found out her name was Dott
I also met other volunteers
We sat and had a brew and a chat
Joining the dots over the past 11 days
Has been a magical experience
One that has taught me
To find the stillness within and pause

Sitting has taken on whole new meaning whilst pet/house sitting in Northallerton.
During the past 5 days
I responded to the gentle calling to just be
As in communication with the furry animal
There is nothing to do or gain
And sitting in stillness
I remembered my first love
Creative needle work
Sometimes it does take a pause
To break patterns of old behaviours
To realign with my true nature
Mud pies and creativity

I am the storm and drama
I am the calm and clarity

To be still and present

Ingwaz: The Seed of Life in the Elder Futhark Runes
