My story 🥰
Hi guys!!
I would like to introduce my self. Here is a little about me!
I graduated completing my BSc(Hons) Podiatry in 2007, having had my son Jack at the end of my first year. He became my reason for pushing through it and my reason for nearly breaking down- a dissertation with a two year old! 😳😂
After graduating I started my business in the Whickham area at first only doing home visits.
In 2009 I started working from The Village Dental Practice in Whickham, Westlands in Lanchester and The Grange in Gosforth. Only changing Whickham practices in 2016 - I am now in the lovely Whickham Dental Practice.
Later in 2009 I began working at Sage. A large company based in Gosforth. This was alongside Nuffield Health. I treat the staff. This was the start of my business contracts that now span all across the North East. The Health and well being agenda became huge and staff love the convenience of seeing me within work.
In 2010 I had my second child, Lucy. It has been the perfect profession for working around children. I love my job but have managed to attend assemblies, parents evening and awards ceremonies due to its flexibility.
I am passionate about the lower limb! Although if I got a £1 for every time I was asked ‘How do you work with feet?’ I’d have retired 5 years ago! 😂
We still welcome new people through our doors every day. There are no two days the same and I love the fact that I don’t know what will walk through next.
