Happy Birthday to our Maintenance man Calum 😁 our lovely home won’t manage to run without him. His relationship and respectfor all staff, families and residents is something to be admired.

He loves a Monday fire alarm way too much and we all hate to see his little notebook coming.

A ‘special day’ for our Margaret Mack for her birthday today.

We discussed what Margaret would like to do for her special day and she said she would like to meet up with some old friends. We had a think and made it happen 😁

We joined in with Whiston Parish Natter Group in the Parish Hall today and Margaret was welcomed by some familiar faces she use to go to church with and neighbours. It was lovely to see Margaret reconnecting with old friends.

And to top it all off all of the group sang Happy Birthday to Margaret. It was a fantastic morning 😍🍾🎊💕

What a wholesome morning we have had with the Year 1 Children from Whiston junior and infant school who came in to read and do Arts and crafts with our residents for National Fairytale Day.

It’s so important to have an Inter-Generational relationships and our residents have enjoyed so much getting to spend some time with the kiddies……who were also so well behaved 😁😁😁

We had a lovely morning with the ladies from Quality clothing who provided a pop up shop for our residents today at Whiston Hall.

They provided some excellent quality stylish clothes with lots of choice for men and women. We look forward to having them back in April 😁
