John Corner funeral service limited is a professional and sympathetic service from a local, long established independent family business of over 38 years. We have served the local community by providing help and guidance which we hope to uphold the fine tradition of care, respect and understanding that has become the hallmark of our well established family business that has been built on trust and recommendation. We pride ourselves in giving each family the highest standard of service at all times. John Corner and his wife Edith took over the local funeral business in 1975 where John worked his apprentice with the previous owner. He has continued to run it under his own name as a family concern for the past 38 years. His daughter Wendy and husband Kevin have now taking over the running of things as they have done since 2010. We are a dedicated team who are there to offer families all the support, assistance and much needed reassurance and sympathy that they need at this sad and difficult time of upset and worry. Service to be held at St Hilda's Church, West Cliff, on Friday 24th April at 12.00 noon, followed by interment at the Cemetery.

Husband of the late Julia Mary (Nee Dinsdale), deeply loved father of Catherine and Christopher, and will be sadly missed by many in the village.
