As part of our latest Light a Candle campaign, we’ve shared virtual memorial candles to help honour loved ones around the Christmas period. Thank you to everyone who created a memorial candle.

Peacefully in Hospital on 15th December, surrounded by his loving family, Ian, aged 75 years. Much loved partner of Ann, and a dearly loved brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, and friend to many.

Good evening everyone,
Here are a couple of photos of the memorial tree at St Mary's church with all your baubles on from the memorial carol service. It shows all your memories to your loved ones if you would like to go in to see them and all the other lovely trees up there in memory of loved ones.

On 12th December, peacefully in her sleep, Ruby, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bert, loving mam of Andrew and Marie, mother in law of Elaine and Fran, and a much loved grandma and great grandma.
Service to be held at Briggswath Methodist Church on Friday 9th January at 10.30 am followed by cremation at Kirkleatham Crematorium, Yearby. Family flowers only please, donations in memory for the Cardiology Department at James Cook Hospital (please make cheques payable to South Tees Hospital Charities - Cardiology Dept)

As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.

We’re pleased to announce the return of Light a Candle this Christmas!

Taking part in this Christmas’s Light a Candle gives you the opportunity to create online memorials throughout the festive period.

Christmas is a special time to celebrate with family and friends, and our virtual candles are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us.

We'll be sharing virtual candles on our page between 15 and 21 December. There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.

(Former Landlord of the Wilson Arms, Sneaton)

Peacefully in Hospital on 28th November, Brian, aged 84 years. Loving husband of Frances, dad of Karen and Martin, father in law of Mike and Becky, devoted grandad of Jessica, Amber, Olivia, Noah and Eden, and great grandad of India and Harper. He will be missed every second of every day by his family.
