We are proud to support Crustacean Compassion www.crustaceancompassion.org.uk in the tireless work they do to improve the welfare of decapod crustaceans, such as crabs, lobsters and langoustines (scampi) which, though despite being found sentient and capable of feeling pain, are routinely subject to cruel treatment such as boiling whilst conscious or dismembered whilst alive. Thank you to everyone who bought a beautiful Crustacean Compassion calendar, we recently sent the proceeds of these; £60 and for calendars and £18.93 from the collecting box to Crustacean Compassion to help them fund the crucial work they do. We still have a few calendars left, pop in and one is yours for whatever donation you feel. Thank you!

We were proud to be at the Crustacean Compassion event on 21st January at the House of Commons, to support Crustacean Compassion in the crucial work they do to improve the welfare of crustaceans such as crabs, lobsters and langoustine ( scampi) which are still routinely subject to cruel treatment such as boiling and dismembering whilst conscious, despite being found to be sentient creatures, capable of feeling pain. Please support this amazing charity in the work they do.

We were delighted to be part of this event on Wednesday, supporting Crustacean Compassion in the crucial work they do to improve the welfare of crustaceans such as crabs, lobsters and langoustines Crustacean Compassion .

Yesterday we were proud to bring together MPs, policymakers, animal welfare advocates, and our incredible ambassadors and supporters in Parliament to kick‑start Crustacean Compassion’s 10‑year anniversary celebrations!🦞

✨The event marked a powerful moment of unity around one shared goal: ensuring that crabs, lobsters, and other decapod crustaceans receive the legal protections and humane treatment they deserve.

🦀 As we reflected on progress since the Animal Welfare (Sentience) Act recognised decapods as sentient beings, we also looked ahead to our ambitious plans for the year - continuing to push for meaningful policy change, raising public awareness, and championing kinder practices across the UK - pushing for their inclusion in Animal Welfare Act (2006).

⭐ It was inspiring to see so many committed voices in one room. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to stand with us.
