MEE-FIT

MEE-FIT Hey, Dan here. It’s nice to have you checking out our page

We are not really into talking too much about our professional history. So let’s talk more about you.

Because the thing is, I know that most people visiting this page don’t really want to know about me, they are looking for a sign that we might be the right people to help them. If you are on this page looking for a bit of support and guidance, then nothing we tell you here can change much. Certainly not a long list of our qualifications and experience. The art of helping people achieve incredible and long lasting change comes from getting to understand what makes you happy. So here is a little task for you;

I want you to imagine what would be a perfect day for you would be. How much energy would you need to enjoy your perfect day? How would you LOVE to look on your perfect day? What one thing about the way you look would you change to ensure the day was even more perfect? And if you need some help with any of those things, then feel free to send me an email to dan@meefit.co.uk

and we can help you figure out if we are the right people to support you. Enjoy the rest of your day,

Coach Dan

The MEE-FIT Games are happening.

Saturday 11th April.
At MEE-FIT HQ.

You don’t need to be “competitive”.
You don’t need to be the fittest.

You just need to be willing to have a go.

More details soon.

For now, put the date in your diary.

I asked our members one question:

“What surprised you most about training here?”

It wasn’t weight loss.

One person said the friendships.
Another said how friendly the gym felt from day one.
Someone else was surprised how everything could be tailored around an old injury.

But the most common answer?

Strength.

Several members said they didn’t realise they could still become this strong at this stage of life.

Sometimes the biggest surprise is simply realising what you’re still capable of.

February’s been a strong month at MEE-FIT.

We shared updates from Robyn, Sandra, Sheena and Allan, thanks for sharing everyone!

Ten new members walked through the door and got started.

Colin sat down with us on the podcast and spoke honestly about his journey.

We began marking ten years of MEE-FIT, much more to come on this subject...

And a group of coaches and members put the miles in on the Sandstone Trail as part of the build-up to Mount Olympus this year.

Lots going on but it’s been great!

If you’ve been meaning to come and see what it’s about, our Open Day on 21st March is the perfect time. Send us a message and we’ll get you the details.

See you next month.

“I’m not a gym person.”
We hear that a lot.
So did Colin — from himself.

But as he says in this clip:

“If you haven’t been, you don’t know what it’s like.
If you haven’t been, you don’t know you can’t do it.
And if you haven’t been, you don’t know you don’t like it.”

At MEE-FIT, we’re not trying to turn you into a “gym person”.
We’re just here to help you feel stronger, more mobile, and more like you, in a space where everyone is welcome.

Progress isn’t always obvious.

It’s not always heavier weights or dramatic before-and-afters.

Sometimes it’s less stiffness in the morning.
More energy in the afternoon.
Feeling a bit more like yourself again.

If you’re already showing up — keep going. It’s working, even if it’s quiet.

And if you’re not doing much right now but you know you should… start small. One step counts.

If you’re ready to move forward, we’re here to help you take that first step.

25/02/2026

There wasn’t a dramatic moment for Allan.

Just that he didn’t feel how he wanted to feel anymore.

No extreme overhaul. No quick fix.

Just structured training. Proper coaching. And turning up consistently.

Over time that led to better energy, fewer stomach issues, real strength gains and a completely different level of confidence.

That’s how this works.

If you’re waiting for the perfect moment, you’ll be waiting a while.

Start before you feel fully ready.

Message us if you want to talk it through

If MEE-FIT has been on your mind for a while, here are the details.

MEE-FIT Open Day
📅 Saturday 21st March
📍 MEE-FIT HQ
Units 1 & 2, Digital Court
Waymills Industrial Estate
Whitchurch
SY13 1TT

Doors will be open during the morning for you to drop in, look around, and have a proper conversation about where you’re at.

This isn’t a class.
It isn’t a seminar.
And it isn’t a sales presentation.

It’s simply a chance to:

– Meet the coaching team
– See how small group personal training works
– Ask honest questions
– Talk about your goals (or even just your aches and pains)
– Decide if this feels like somewhere you’d be comfortable training

We’re also running 30-minute taster personal training sessions at:

• 9:00am
• 10:00am
• 11:00am

Most of the people who come to see us are 40+.
They want to feel stronger, move more freely, and have more energy, without stepping into a loud, intimidating gym environment.

If that sounds like you, this is a simple first step.

Comment OPEN or send us a message and we’ll send over the full details.

And if you’re already a MEE-FIT member, feel free to tag someone who might appreciate a quieter way to get started.

Ten years ago we picked up the keys to a 1,000 sq ft unit with one toilet…

An open space with one room doing the job of five.
Office. Reception. Lockers. Coffee station. InBody.
And two nervous-but-excited coaches who were the entire business.

Back then, it was just me and Shan.
Early mornings. Late evenings.
If you trained at MEE-FIT, you trained with us.

We didn’t have a grand plan.
We just knew we cared.
And that people wanted proper support that they weren’t getting anywhere else.

Fast forward a decade…

Bigger space.
A brilliant coaching team.
A clearer understanding of who we’re here to help (and who we’re not).

The location changed.
The team grew.
Our family grew.

But the principles haven’t.

We still care about doing this properly.
We still believe midlife strength changes more than just your body.
We still want every person who walks through the door to feel supported, not judged.

Ten years in… and we’re just getting started.

If you’ve been part of this in any way; whether you trained with us in that tiny unit or joined us last month, thank you.

And if you’ve been watching from the sidelines, wondering if it’s your time…

Maybe this is your sign.

Dan 🙌

“How do you notice your training helping in daily life?”

That’s what we asked our members.

Not about PBs.
Not about weight loss.

Just real life.

Most of the answers weren’t dramatic.
They were simple.

Feeling less stiff.
More steady on the stairs.
More confident carrying things.

That’s the win.

Strong enough for your life.

If that’s what you’re after, we’re here.

18/02/2026

“And got charged a fortune to do it.”

That was the comment.

It was about Sally.

Before joining us, she’d tried the “traditional” gym.
Paid for all the extras, never used them.
Pilates. Dog walks. Still felt stuck.

Then she found MEE-FIT, and she chose proper support.

It’s not the cheapest.
But we’re not here to be cheap. We’re here to be effective.

Because paying less for something that doesn’t work?
That’s expensive.

Now she’s the strongest and most confident she’s ever been.

If you want it to actually make a difference, we’re here.

16/02/2026

“I sleep well, have lots of energy, my skin is clear… I could go on and on.”

That’s Sheena now.

Before MEE-FIT?
A bit of tennis. Walking the dog. Feeling tired. Sleeping badly. Watching her weight creep up after turning 40.
And she’d never lifted a weight.

Since starting, she’s lost 2 stone.
Gone from not holding a plank to doing floor press-ups.
Built strength — and a completely different mindset.

No more all-or-nothing.
No giving up after one slice of cake.
Just consistency. Support. Progress.

If you’re thinking you’re “not a gym person”… Sheena thought that too.

You don’t have to be ready.
You just have to start.

Message us if you’d like to chat.

15/02/2026

“I couldn’t do one squat when I started. Now my grandson climbs on my shoulders and we walk for hundreds of yards.”

Colin joined us at 69.
No gym experience.
Post-cancer treatment.
Not sure what to expect.

What he found?
Strength he didn’t know he had.
A place he actually enjoys coming to.
And changes that areshowing up in everyday life.
