Alan will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Loving Husband to Deborah, Stepdad to Jennifer and Kayleigh, Grandad to Lyla and Jesse, Brother to David, Christine and Elizabeth.

Alan’s funeral service is taking place on Thursday 2nd April 2026, 1.30pm at Whitley Bay crematorium.

It is with deep profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Brenda Gargett (nee Shield) aged 78, who left us on Sunday 1st March 2026, at home surrounded by her family.

Beloved Wife of Mick, Mam to Graham, Marie, Paul and Angela. Mother in law to John, Nicola, Wayne & Deborah. Nanna to Helen, Eve and Harry, Great-Nanna to Alfie and Isla, Sister to Beryl, Aunty to Denise & Donna, Step-Mam to Julie, Lisa & Jane and so many more Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who she dearly loved and friend to many, She will be so missed.

Rachele touched all of our hearts, she was such a lovely woman always a person to go to if you ever needed someone. She was always that person you could rely on for anything at anytime, she will be missed so much by all of her loving family and friends.
