We currently have limited stocks of flu vaccinations available for both NHS-eligible and private patients.

Due to the current flu outbreak and NHS advice, we strongly encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated as soon as possible to help protect yourself and others.

🎄 Christmas & New Year Opening Times – Whitley Bay Pharmacy 🎄

Please note that Whitley Bay Pharmacy will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
We will be open on Saturday 27th for 3 hours (9am–12pm).

We will also be closed on 1st January.
All other days we are open as usual:
🕣 Monday–Friday: 8.30am–5.30pm
🕘 Saturday: 9am–12pm

Please remember to order your prescriptions from your GP in plenty of time and collect your medication before the holiday closures.

🚚 Free local delivery available if you’re unable to come down to the pharmacy.

There is a yellow thunderstorm warning across much of England for the next 24 hours or so - and an amber warning for London and the South East until 11:00am tomorrow.

Hot weather and thunderstorms can trigger symptoms in those who suffer with lung conditions such as asthma.

If you notice the weather makes your symptoms worse and you are needing to use your inhaler more frequently, please talk to your pharmacist, contact your GP or NHS 111.
