Finding the light (my favourite easily accessible resource)

Our osteopaths spend time to chat through concerns with patients they have and will refer to medical professionals if and when necessary. These concerns may extend beyond a pain in their shoulder for example and can be lifestyle related issues. We will also refer to medical professionals if and when necessary.

As part of our training and continuing professional development hours alongside our own special interests we also discuss other aspects of health to help patients implement change.

Some of my top favourites include:

* Pelvic Health including toilet habits
* Pre and postnatal health
* Hormonal health and who to see to help you .piotrowski.nutrition .gp
* The benefits of natural light ✨
* Correcting postural imbalances with gentle and easily accessible stretches/exercises including SPIKEY BALLS 🙌🏻
* Addressing incorrect movement patterns
* Sleep positions for more effective sleep
* BREATHING- and the benefits of!!
* The importance of hobbies and interests
* Working with other therapists .124
* The health benefits of walking and nature 🍃
* Heat and cold therapy

I could carry on (for a long time!) but these are some of my highlights!

Appointments with us are a whole health approach not just your muscles or back.

Why Being Able to Get Up from the Floor Matters More Than You Think!

Being able to get up from the floor isn’t just a party trick — it’s a powerful sign of strength, balance, and independence. 🌟

Here’s why it’s so important:
✨ Boosts balance & coordination (less risk of falls)
✨ Builds leg & core strength
✨ Keeps your joints flexible
✨ Increases confidence & independence
✨ Linked to longer, healthier living (yes, really!)

Try practicing it safely — your future self will thank you. 🙌

✨ Today something special happened…my youngest actually let me treat him! Normally, he only wants a cuddle from mummy, but this time was different — and of course, a picture had to be taken 😅

As any parent of a toddler knows, bumps and tumbles are part of everyday life. While it may seem like children “bounce back” quickly, their little bodies can still hold on to strain, just like ours do.

That’s where osteopathy can help. Cranial osteopathy is gentle, relaxing, and supports the body in finding balance again. Many of my younger patients get so comfortable during treatment that they don’t want to leave — sometimes even competing with their siblings for a turn on the couch!

👉 Cranial osteopathy isn’t just for babies, it can be hugely beneficial for toddlers and young children too.

It’s been a great mixture of things for me as an Osteopath, Pilates Instructor and as a mum, alongside exciting things for .

This week has been a busy one trying to keep the balance between home and work life with a little more riding than usual to give me the opportunity to reset (it’s my favourite thing to do, horse riders know what I mean about switching off that way!).

I have been revisiting and replenishing my Osteopathic knowledge base ready to work with for Pilates instructor training. What an amazing afternoon that was! Learning and sharing knowledge is so empowering especially when in the company of such enthusiastic people 🥳

has been taking the time this week to give you new images of the clinic and our practitioners. Thanks 📸 Watch this space for things to come.
As well as that we have had our delivery, now that’s always worth a read 🗞️

Getting ready for the week ahead by prepping availabilty for and Pilates classes (join the WhatsApp community for details of availabilty).
