Woollard & Kent Funeral Services Ltd is a well establish, proud and successful family funeral directors serving South East Kent with offices in Canterbury & Whitstable.

Our expanding business offers us the opportunity to invest in a number of new full and part-time positions as “funeral operatives” to join our existing team. You will need to be well presented at all times (we provide a uniform), have good communications skills, be self-motivated, be able to demonstrate empathy, sensitivity and compassion, be efficient and helpful in all matters concerned our services, work flexibly within a tight-knit team where there are multiple tasks ongoing at any one time and ensure our clients feel safe and supported in our hands.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, and include our out of hours’ rota (full and part-time prorate). You are required to be age 21 or over, for insurances purposes, you must hold a full driving licence and to be physically fit to ensure you can be a pallbearer, heavy lifting is essential to the role. Full training will be given on the job to learn all aspects of the role.
