Are you a parent or carer of a child aged 6-12 years?

Does your child have a diagnosis of and are they experiencing sleep problems?

The University Hospital of Southampton and Southampton Clinical Trials Unit are running a study. The study aims to test whether a new website Sleep Buddy, which has been designed by medics and psychologists, improves sleep problems in children aged 6-12 years with an ADHD diagnosis.

You can take part if:

โœ“ Your child is aged 6-12 years.

โœ“ Your child has a diagnosis of ADHD (including ADD).

โœ“ You have noticed that your child is experiencing problems falling asleep.

Visit the study website or register your interest by following this link โ€“ https://www.trial-deck.com/trial/sleepbuddy?reg_code=Gl1YSXL25E

๐ŸŒฟ What Can Our Social Prescribers Help With? ๐ŸŒฟ

Social Prescribers play an important role in supporting your overall wellbeing โ€” not just your medical needs.

They take time to understand what matters to you and can connect you with local services, groups, and practical support.
Here are some of the ways they can help:

โœ… Reducing loneliness โ€“ linking you with community groups, activities, and social connections.
โœ… Practical support โ€“ help finding guidance on housing, benefits, money worries, or employment challenges.
โœ… Living well with longโ€‘term conditions โ€“ connecting you to groups that support physical and emotional health.
โœ… Everyday life challenges โ€“ helping you access the right local resources when things feel overwhelming.
โœ… Boosting confidence and wellbeing โ€“ through activities such as walking groups, arts, volunteering, and more.

Our Social Prescribers are here to listen, support, and help you take positive steps in your wellbeing journey.

If you feel you might benefit from this kind of support, please get in touch with the practice and they will connect you with our Social Prescribing Team.
