🌙 We’re Hiring: Duty Desk (Out-of-Hours) – Whitstable Area 🌙

Do you stay calm under pressure and enjoy supporting others behind the scenes? We’re looking for a reliable and compassionate Duty Desk Worker to provide out-of-hours support to our community care team working with vulnerable adults in the Whitstable area.

📍 Location: Whitstable (office based: back up community work required when needed)
⏰ Hours: Out-of-hours shifts avaible.
Week day evenings: 17.30 - 21.30
Weekends: Variable shifts from 6.30 - 21.30
We can allocate shifts to work around your availability!

💼 Role: Duty Desk / On-Call Support

About the Role:
You’ll be the first point of contact outside normal office hours, supporting our care workers in the community and helping ensure our clients continue to receive safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing telephone support to care staff out of hours
• Responding to incidents, call-outs, emergencies and community care work cover
• Liaising with on-call management and external professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and handovers
• Supporting continuity of care for vulnerable adults

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Calm, confident communicator
✔ Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
✔ Experience in care or support settings (desirable but not essential)
✔ Comfortable working independently
✔ Compassionate, professional, and reliable
